  • From your inquiry to the arrival, you’ll know exactly what to expect. We’ve planned the location and outfits, I’ve studied the inspo and posing boards, and the light is shining at just the right spot. Graduation season is busy, we’ll make this fun!

  • Your session will feel all about you— but in the best way! I never liked being the subject of any camera, and am very familiar with the uncomfortable feeling. Many of my clients have walked away from shoots saying they didn’t know taking photos could be this easy and fun, and I’d love to give you the same feeling!

  • No one likes the waiting— my turnaround time for Senior and Grad galleries is 2 weeks with Sneak Peeks coming to you just 24 hours after the shoot. You’ve done your part, now it’s time to sit back, enjoy your senior year, and let me take it from there. Bright, honest, refined edits are the name of my game.

Lighting makes or breaks a photo—the best time of day to guarantee the soft, flattering light is GOLDEN HOUR.

Only two of these sessions are available per day, and evening sessions fill up quickly! Secure your spot for the date that works best for you.

Whether you want iconic photos on campus or a more creative session in a prairie or forest, the golden glow will follow.

Your backdrop will influence the styles and colors in your photos. My edits enhance the scene, while staying honest to the original experience.

FAQs

  • Anywhere from 3 months to 1 week in advance, but availability is not guaranteed! If you have a busy schedule, want the perfect golden hour session, or want to hit peak seasons for your photos, I suggest booking further in advance. My bookings follow the seasons, since the outdoors is our backdrop!

  • When booking your session, you will have the option to book a Backup date. Either party can make the call to move to the Backup Date up to 2 hours before leaving for the session due to weather. (I still shoot in the rain, just not in dangerous weather! We can shoot rain or shine, as long as we are safe.)
    If you cancel the session for a non-emergency, any retainer/holding fee is forfeited.

  • I am based in the Northwest Chicago suburbs and serve the surrounding area up to 15 miles or 40-minutes from Zip Code 60016 with no additional travel fees. After that, a 75¢/mile travel fee will apply.

  • Yes! My pricing is based on Individual sessions as they are the most common, but I am happy to make a custom quote for a duo or group.
    Sessions with multiple subjects will extend in length, receive more final edits, and see a price increase compared to the individual sessions. Contact for more information.

  • The number of outfits included in each session depends on the selected experience.

    As for what to wear, think soft colors, muted tones, and simple patterns. Textures photograph better than patterns and prints! Choose colors that flatter you, and clothes that you are comfortable and confident in.

  • Yes, of course! You are welcome to have someone hang out for the session. Honestly, it’s helpful for both me and you when we have an extra set of eyes and hands. When booking, you will be asked for the names of anyone attending the session, please just let me know then!
    I am happy to include a few photos of you and whoever you bring, nut no individual shots of your guest!

  • Yes, you can order a variety of prints directly from the Pixieset gallery you receive.
