I’m Shaela Sturgeon, owner and photographer of Earth To Shaela.
Originally from Moultonborough, New Hampshire, I moved to Miami in 2022 to attend the University of Miami, and I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Ecosystem Science and Policy. Now, my next chapter is starting in Chicago!
My passion for the environment is rooted in my perspective— humans are a part of nature, not apart from it. I seek to connect people to the natural world through my art!
My style is polished, honest and warm, and most importantly fluid and adaptive to my clients and the environment. I strive to leverage the uniqueness of every session and really bring the special moments to life!
I am a natural light photographer skilled in portrait, event, sports, wildlife and nature, and travel photography.
My dream is to work with sustainable farms, brands, organizations and advocates to connect more people to our environment through visual storytelling!

My time spent traveling Europe and trekking the Everglades has refined my technical precision. Nature doesn't take direction, so I’ve learned to work with the light and landscape as they are—bringing that same patience and organic beauty back to my human subjects.
