I’m Shaela
I’m a 21 year-old Miami-based photographer skilled in portrait, events, sports, wildlife, and travel photography.
I am originally from Moultonborough, New Hampshire and moved to Miami in 2022 to attend the University of Miami. This May, I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Ecosystem Science and Policy.
My passion for the environment is rooted in my perspective— humans are part of nature and must seek balance with it, not dominion over it.
Similarly, my art rests on my perspective. My photography isn’t about creating— but capturing. My favorite moments are not the posed or planned but the raw and genuine ones.

My time spent traveling Europe and trekking the Everglades has refined my technical precision. Nature doesn't take direction, so I’ve learned to work with the light and landscape as they are—bringing that same patience and organic beauty back to my human subjects.
